At Bhodi (2019–24), before AI tools were part of the job, I planned and built features end to end on React, Node.js, and Firebase (Auth, Storage, Functions, Realtime Database, Firestore) — UI, architecture, exports, the hard jobs nobody else owned. That ownership is the core of how I work. Today I'm CTO at Carmy and a software engineer at Ted Chow LLC — with restaurant POS, IoT lockers, and commerce work in between.

For four to five years I was effectively the engineering team at Bhodi — a live product with e-commerce, social features, and more. Stack was React, Node.js, and Firebase (Auth, Storage, Cloud Functions, Realtime Database, and Firestore). Before AI coding tools: every feature was planned with the CEO, then designed and built by me — UI, architecture, exports, the operational jobs that keep a product running. Close CEO partnership; end-to-end ownership. The company later closed after funding ran out, but this is still the deepest proof of how I work.

About

How I got here

The defining stretch was Bhodi: years as the solo engineer, planning with the CEO and shipping everything myself — design, architecture, features, export jobs — before AI tools existed in the workflow. That habit of ownership carried into restaurant POS, IoT lockers, commerce, teaching at GIAIC, and now Carmy (CTO) and Ted Chow LLC (software engineer).

    SMIT — MERN foundations

    Formalized React, Node, and MongoDB skills and began shipping production-facing projects.

  2. 2019–24

    Bhodi — solo engineer

    The main chapter: sole engineer working directly with the CEO. React, Node.js, and Firebase (Auth, Storage, Functions, Realtime Database, Firestore). Designed and shipped features and architecture end to end — before AI tooling. Company later closed after funding constraints.
